HOW THEY MET:
We grew up in the same hometown and went to the same grade school-high school together; however, we didn’t officially connect or hang out until we both lived in Colorado. When Eric saw that I moved to Colorado from social media, he reached out and invited me to get a drink. We caught up on life and he informed me about his upcoming shows as a musician. We continued to stay in touch throughout the year, and once Eric’s music travels slowed down a bit, we went on our first hike together in beautiful Boulder. We enjoyed the quality time together and decided to go to the movies together the next evening. A month later, after finishing his first 14er with me (hiking up a mountain that exceeds an elevation of 14,000 feet above sea level), he asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been enjoying the ride ever since, with continuous adventures together!
PROPOSAL STORY:
Eric kept the proposal very intimate with candles and music in our home. It was Valentine’s Day and when I arrived home from work, I was surprised to see him already there and dressed up for the evening. We were planning to go to dinner and a musical, but little did I know he had a HUGE surprise up his sleeve. He walked up to me, said very sweet words, and went down on one knee. He then surprised me again and said our friend was coming over to take photos of us. The pictures were amazing! We then continued our evening, just the two of us, for dinner and the musical. It was an amazing, unforgettable night.
THE RING:
Eric proposed with a radiant cut diamond stone held in platinum head set in white gold.
