HOW THEY MET:
We initially met on Hinge, but had our first date at a coffee shop in University Circle.
PROPOSAL STORY:
Both of Lucy’s siblings were in town, which is rare, so I wanted to make sure they could be there for the proposal. I told Lucy that my parents were coming in town to see my grandparents, and that we would all have lunch together at Lucy’s parents house. Lucy’s mom asked to take pictures because everyone was in town, and once it was just the two of us I pulled out the ring, got down on one knee, and asked her if she would marry me!
THE RING:
We chose an emerald cut diamond and had Alson create a custom 3-stone setting with emerald side stones, all set in platinum.
