HOW THEY MET:

We met at a party of a mutual friend during the summer before our senior year of high school seven years ago!

THE PROPOSAL STORY:

It was Labor Day Weekend. We were in Chicago visiting David’s sister Beth, staying at a fabulous high-rise apartment building called One Eleven. We’d just come back from brunch. David suggested we go up to the building’s outdoor terrace overlooking the river to take a few pictures. It was there, with that spectacular view of the city, that David got down on one knee and popped the question!

THE RING:

The ring is gorgeous. The diamond is teardrop shaped with two baguettes, one on either side. It’s perfect.
