We are looking for talented and enthusiastic Sales Professionals to join our team full-time. The Sales Professional will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while cultivating relationships with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

• Aptitude to thoroughly grasp product details and gain appropriate product knowledge that will be used to differentiate products from one another and from competitors
• Must have a passion and enthusiasm for luxury jewelry and timepieces
• Strong motivation to generate sales
• Desire to generate strong, ongoing client relationships
• Capable to use the company computer software and email system
• Cultivate ongoing relationships with clients helping to ensure their return time and again.
• Demonstrate successful outreach to potential and existing customers to keep Alson Jewelers at the top-of-their-mind for jewelry and timepiece shopping.
• Achieve sales objectives as identified by management by using successful sales techniques and consistent follow through.
• Share with clients our mission and brand identity as a primary reason to trust Alson Jewelers with their purchases.
• Display a welcoming and attentive manner with all clients at all times.
• Show commitment to providing outstanding and unique experiences to each of our clients.
• Exhibit a willingness to learn the technical aspects of all of our products and enthusiastically describe this, with confidence, to clients to establish the exclusive nature of our items, the quality and the value, and the culture of each brand.
• Actively transition guests from service (i.e. repairs or cleaning) to purchasing, as applicable.
• Consistently exhibit a professional manner and composure with all clients and peers.
• Willingness to learn and exceed client expectations.

Requirements:

• Some experience in luxury retail sales is preferred but not required. This may include jewelry and fine timepieces, or retail sales of other types of luxury products such as clothing, shoes, accessories, home items, autos, to name a few.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in an active luxury environment.
• A dynamic self starter and team player while displaying an outstanding work ethic.
• Strong understanding of customer service needs and priorities.

We are seeking a passionate and personable individual to join our team as a Luxury Jewelry Store Greeter and Concierge. As the first point of contact for our esteemed clientele, you will play a pivotal role in creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere within our store. Your warm demeanor, impeccable appearance, and commitment to providing exceptional service will set the tone for our customers’ memorable visits.

We are currently looking for one or more part-time candidates to work two to three days per week, ideally full shifts but we can offer some flexibility in timing. The current store operating hours that are available are Monday – Friday 10:30am – 5:30pm and Saturday from 10am to 5:00 pm. The part-time position provides competitive pay along with some part-time benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter the store with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Provide a high level of customer service by assisting with inquiries, directing customers to the appropriate departments, and ensuring their needs are met.
• Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to dress code guidelines to represent the luxury brand image.
• Manage the store’s entrance area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product lines, and store policies to answer customer questions accurately.
• Assist in managing customer appointments and ensuring that customers are connected with the appropriate sales associates.
• Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or greeter role is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist with a strong passion for photography to join our team. This is a full-time, hybrid position. As a Social Media Specialist you will play a key role in enhancing our brand’s online presence and engagement, utilizing your photography expertise to create visually stunning content that resonates with our audience.

The ideal candidate is a team player who will work actively with the Director of Social Media, management, and sales team to promote our designer jewelry and Swiss timepieces, current jewelry trends, and daily happenings at Alson Jewelers. This person will work with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that our digital presence is a reflection of our in-store client experience.

Job Description:

• This role will report directly to the Director of Social Media
• Work closely with the Director of Social Media to develop the fine jewelry and watch social content strategy
• Design and implement social media strategies that align with business goals, including promoting our store expansion to be completed Summer 2024.
• As the Social Media Specialist you will play a key role in enhancing our brand’s online presence and engagement, utilizing your photography expertise to create visually stunning content that resonates with our audience
• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand identity and targets various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, and TikTok
• Plan and schedule social media posts, ensuring timely and consistent updates to maintain an active online presence
• Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and implement data-driven strategies to improve reach and engagement in order to grow our following
• Utilize your photography background to capture high-quality images and videos that highlight the beauty and craftsmanship of our jewelry collections, watches, brand story and company culture
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative visual concepts for social media campaigns and marketing materials
• Edit and retouch photos to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic and ensure content meets our quality standards
• Engage with our social media community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
• Cultivate meaningful connections with followers and influencers, fostering brand loyalty and encouraging user-generated content
• Assist in creating and managing paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and support sales efforts
• Adhere to in-store brand’s social media guidelines

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• Proven track record of managing social media accounts and growing their social media presence
• Experience with retail accounts or e-commerce preferred
• A strong passion for photography/video and a solid background in photography techniques and editing
• Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and storytelling
• Knowledge and understanding of luxury marketing
• Demonstrable expertise in using various social media platforms, with an understanding of audience behavior and best practices
• Proficiency in photo editing software and tools, such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and innovate and collaborate
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of current social media trends and emerging platforms
• Proficiency across social media platforms for content creation, optimization, tagging, promotion, and evaluation
• Ability to design assets and edit images/video with Canva and other applications
• Minimum three years of social media/marketing experience preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of the world of luxury jewelry, from established brands to emerging designers, and social content trends a plus.
