Trends in Jewelry for 2013

With 2013 upon us, we thought it would be a great time to talk about jewelry trends we expect to see in the coming year.  From vintage inspired to futuristic looks, we will be seeing a wide range of designs this year.  Read on as we jump into the future to see what 2013 will bring us in jewelry trends.

COLOR OF THE YEAR – EMERALD GREEN

Pantone recently named Emerald Green to be the 2013 Color of the Year.  Every year Pantone polls fashion designers and brands about colors they are featuring in their designs.  As determined by their polling, the vivid hue is the “It” color of the year.  We will be seeing a lot of this color in fashion, interior design and jewelry.  What better way to celebrate the color of the year than with this stunning emerald ring by Bez Ambar.

VINTAGE INSPIRED JEWELRY

METAL LINK CHAINS

Metal link chains will be one of the most popular trends for 2013.  We will see this trend in fashion with chains adorning handbags, shoes and belts.  This chain by David Yurman is a great look.

YEAR OF THE SNAKE

According to the Chinese Zodiac Calendar, 2013 is the Year of the Snake.  The snake is considered to be a symbol of luck and believed by many to bring a year of prosperity and peace. We will be seeing snake inspired jewelry this year from many designers.  We love this bracelet by Roberto Coin.
