How They Met:
We went to high school together and were always friends. After college we went on our first real date to Jekyll’s and the rest is history!
The Proposal Story:
On August 15, 2015, JP casually mentioned to Lindsey that they had a reservation at Jekyll’s. Lindsey and JP had been wanting to go back since they re-opened after a tragic fire. Lindsey had a sneaking suspicion, however no one around her (including JP) was acting any differently or giving away any sort of clues. They arrived at dinner and the hostess told them it would be just a minute before their falls view table would be ready. She continued by asking if they would like a tour of the new, renovated restaurant. On the tour, the manager guided Lindsey and JP down the steps to the look-out platform over the falls. This is where JP popped the question! After much cheering and celebration by the waiters and waitresses (who knew all along this would be happening), Lindsey and JP were guided to their table where there was a beautiful set up of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and flowers. After dinner, Lindsey and JP decided to go have a drink at the outside bar. As they walked outside all of their closest friends and family were waiting. It was a night of celebration that the couple will never forget!
