HOW THEY MET:
Despite having grown up 20 minutes from each other in the Cleveland area, we first met in London in 2017. We each had signed up for a study abroad trip to London while in college and even had our “first date” there, as Connor likes to put it! I wanted to go see Phantom of the Opera, but had no one to go with so Connor offered to attend with me. When we discovered we lived close to each other, we decided to keep in touch once we arrived back home, and soon after, we had a real first date! The rest is history!
PROPOSAL STORY:
The Cleveland Museum of Art is one of our favorites places to go together, so it was a fitting place to plan a proposal. Connor planned a lovely evening walk around the pond in front of the museum, and while enjoying the scenery, Connor got down on one knee and said, “I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” After the proposal, we enjoyed an intimate dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.
