“The inspiration behind the creation of my jewels is rooted in my Venetian origins and the natural settings surrounding my territory. I have always believed in quality and in the secrets of Italian jewelry. The Marco Bicego brand combines old world tradition with contemporary design and conveys the typical values and details of Made in Italy. The distinct uniqueness of my timeless jewels can be described through artisanal craftsmanship and imperfect shapes, always made in 18 karat gold.” ~Marco Bicego
Marco Bicego will be making a rare personal appearance at Alson Jewelers on Wednesday, November 19th. In anticipation of his visit, we wanted to share with you some of his most recent designs.
Irregular 18 karat yellow gold hand engraved silhouettes encompassed by polished frames and enriched with exclusively cut dark Aquamarines are the cornerstone of this collection.
The Delicati collection represents a tribute to the joy of traveling and the inspiration for some of Marco’s most successful collections. “Delicati” means “delicate”, just like the natural shapes and colors of the stones in this collection.
This collection is rooted in tradition and inspired by architectural expression. When choosing the name for these spectacular jewels, Marco was inspired by the many reflections on the Venetian sea from dusk to dawn. The yellow gold is hand engraved with the historic Bulino technique and enriched by the contrast of polish finished elements. The irregularity of the shapes, signature of the brand, is recognizable in the geometric shapes that characterize this collection.
Carefully hand-hammered and twisted, these 18 carat coils are intertwined to create uniquely modern and elegant jewelry.
This collection is inspired by a tropical Indian sunset and a celebration of the Jaipur region’s rich traditions of precious stone carving, featuring an exclusive Marco Bicego faceted cut. The color and composition of each stone within this collection has been hand selected and the gold has been hand engraved to give it greater depth.
