We’re pleased to announce the addition of three new jewelry designers at Alson Jewelers. Each is very talented and has a unique story all their own. Read on to learn more about the new designers at our store.
Monica started out as a fine art portrait photographer using black & white film and darkroom techniques that reflect an heirloom quality. She then became interested in jewelry and started creating lockets and charm bracelets. For Monica, the jewelry design process is driven by one question: “Can a woman give this piece of jewelry to her daughter in 20 years?” Monica says, “I hope that my collection creates heirlooms for our generation while maintaining an enduring sense of fashion and timeless style. Living and cherishing stories is universal to us all. A locket depicts a moment unique to the wearer. A Charm Necklace captures a singular idea about the woman who wears it, while a charm bracelet celebrates the story of that woman’s life—in a way, it is like a fingerprint, totally unique to the wearer.”
Katie began designing jewelry as a sophomore in college. The first piece she designed was a pearl pendant for her mother which is named the “Ivy” and is still offered in her collection today. Using the highest quality materials, Katie designs jewelry for women of all ages using diamonds, semi-precious stones, and pearls with unique, whimsical designs available in 18K yellow, white, and rose gold. She strikes the perfect balance between classic and contemporary so that her designs evoke a timelessness that can be passed down through the generations.
Founder and Designer Barbara Ross-Innamorati’s love of fashion, art and design is evident in her beautiful jewelry. Barbara became fascinated with gold leaf, and the way it can transform ordinary objects into something extraordinary. She always had a love for jewelry and found a way to adapt 22K gold leaf to jewelry design. After 18 months of trial and error, she perfected the unique technique for which Évocateur is now known. Today, Barbara’s designs are inspired from her extensive travels throughout the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia. Many pieces are embellished with authentic hand-set vintage treasures from the 1940’s to the 1980’s. Évocateur evokes modern style with an eternally chic aesthetic featuring designs that include cuffs, bangles, pendants and earrings.
