Come in and meet Josh Pugh, our WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training Education Program) Certified Watchmaker. This certification means that Josh has successfully passed the 18½ hour test and has acquired the skills to service most Swiss brands. Josh is also a graduate from the famed Lititz Watch Technicum,

and is recognized by the A.W.C.I. (American Watch and Clock Institute) as a certified watchmaker.

Next time you’re at Alson, be sure to look in the window of our design studio to see the latest in jewelry manufacturing and repair equipment - it’s our new Laser Star machine!

Our Master Jewelers have become certified to use this laser technology which fuses metal together (welding), creating a stronger and more pure finish to jewelry. Traditional methods incorporate a heat torch to solder materials together.

What does this mean to you? It means Alson will be able to service your heirloom jewelry, enamel, gold-filled or plated jewelry. All these require new laser technology. Plus, we can now size and repair most David Yurman and John Hardy designs! Be sure to come in and take a look!

Direct Diamond Importers

Alson has been a direct diamond importer for over 75 years. Our direct link to a DeBeers site holder enables us to find unusual cuts, "ideal" or G.I.A. and AGS certified diamonds in all shapes, sizes, colors and clarity. We focus on well cut diamonds which yield the maximum brilliance and scintilation.
